Business Development Manager

My client are a nationwide logistics service based in the South West specialising in the shipping of manufactured goods to the UK offshore islands.

They are currently experiencing a period of growth and are particularly keen to develop their sales department. They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to work along side the Account Manager and to identify new avenues for sales. You will be expected develop from cold a client base in a specific territory.

An excellent sales background is required for this demanding role. You will have a minimum of 5 years field sales experience from this or a similar industry. The ability to be able to prove your track record in sales is a must.

The successful applicant can expect to receive a competitive basic salary, company car, company pension as well as private medical insurance and excellent OTE.
