KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Develop business and brand marketing strategy for new business opportunities and refreshed propositional work for existing business activity.
• Undertake field and desk research to determine the scope and natureof the business opportunity / brand development programme
• Develop a business proposal which details the cost / benefit of the opportunity, outlines the desired approach and secures executive sign off
• Incept, develop, implement and oversee project plan and cross functional project team
• Carry out appropriate customer, competitor and market research
• Develop brand marketing strategy to include brand proposition, creative look and feel, customer experience strategy, product & pricing strategy and multi-channel campaign marketing strategy
• Direct continual range development by product marketing team
• Dotted line management of brand champions with Customer Services
• Produce ongoing analysis and reporting of business results
• Ownership for brand profit & loss and budget spend
• Ensure optimal integration with early years brand strategy, where appropriate, and deliver benefits around economy of scale opportunities (spend & revenue)

Plan, execute and analyse brand marketing programme against strategic plan and demonstrate value against business performance objectives

Develop market and customer insight which informs and aids optimal buying, selling and fulfilment strategy and tactics

Act as brand business champion within the company and assist in the outstanding implementation of planned activity associated with that brand

EXPERIENCE
• Academic and practical understanding of economic market forces in B2B and/or B2C marketing
• Proven track record in preparing business plans, reports and analysis
• Experienced in managing internal, external and virtual resources in delivering against objectives
• Managing large scale campaign activity across multi channels
• Experienced in managing projects
• Competent IT skills – Microsoft office, PowerPoint, Project Manager
